Real Estate

Deciding What To Do

I have been trying a lot of differnt things lately and not many of them have been working out, so I am thinking about going back to real estate.

I have been looking through the ads on Craigslist and found some interesting ads.  I have to come up with something that will allow me to take care of the other commitments I currently have, so I need something that is part time.  Of course I need to make as much money as possible so I can pay my bills.

A couple of the idea I am thinking about is getting my real estate license and then trying to talk a broker into letting me work for them.

Offshoot from that idea is that I found an ad that says they will be your broker for a flat rate. I think it was around $500 which does not sound like a bad deal to me.

It may be a little harder to talk people into letting you list their houses, but a lot of people don't really know much about any real estate broker.

Plus your really better off dealing with people who are on the lower end of the education curve anyway, because they just cause less problems.  If you have a choice you always want to do deals with people who know less than you do.

That applies to everything except if you have someone working for you, then you want the smartest person you can find.

The other idea I had was to run an ad and see if I could find some people interested in knocking on doors and doing the leg work to run down some foreclosures. That would mean that I would have to come up with some money first.

There was also an ad for a mobile home sales person wanted, I would need to get my real estate license for that one.

Last idea was to go back to some of the people I know who are still hustling foreclosures and talk to them about working for them.

So those are my basic ideas at this point.
